Sinem Ersoy is an associate at Borden Ladner Gervais’ Calgary office, where she summered and articled prior to joining the firm. Sinem’s practice focuses on securities and corporate law across all industries, with an emphasis on corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and asset and share purchases.

Ms. Ersoy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Certificate in Managing International Trade and Investment from the Schulich School of Business at York University. In law school, Ms. Ersoy founded and led the Fintech Law Association, was a working group leader for the International Human Rights Program, served as an extern for the Board of Directors of John Howard Society of Ontario, volunteered as a record suspension caseworker at the City of Toronto, and was a member of the school’s Health and Wellness Committee. She first worked for BLG as a summer student following her first year in law school.
